While there are a lot of things people associate the series of Call of Duty one thing is the most brought up and that is the gameplay mode from the Treyarch line, entitled Zombies. Naturally when I see that Mega Bloks has come out with a new line of collectibles for my favorite games, I ask to review them. Again, they sent me items to review from the Spring 2014 collection: Zombie Tranzit Farm and... more.

There has been one game that I have always been fond of more than any other in the series, arguably the best out of all of them when it came to story-telling adventures. Halo: ODST is my favorite on because it captivated me with its different play style, and an epic story that no Halo game has come to match yet. Then, one day I check my e-mail and it is Mega Bloks announcing their Spring Collec... more.
  • Unity 3D Game Development by Example

While I usually find myself developing video game mods, I occasionally get the offer to review a new book, or video based around Game Development. This time Packt Publishing sent me a video of Unity 3D Game Development by Example by Adam Maxwell which can be found HERE. Since I don’t normally like to sit down and read a book because I am a more visual learner, this kind of made me happy that som... more.

As most of my readers know, there is nothing more important to me in the gaming experience than sound. Sound can be the ultimate difference maker between a quality and low production video game for me. Being the audiophile I am, I generally am on the lookout for new companies with something to prove. In the industry of audio technology, it is overly saturated with terrible products, and then on th... more.
  • Assassin’s Creed: Liberation HD

There are not many series of video games that I love more than the Assassin’s Creed series. I have played each and every single installment, from the very first, to Black Flag. With that said, I was extremely excited when Ubisoft announced Assassin’s Creed: Liberation HD. I played the original, and I was curious how this HD port would turn out. Thankfully, the team at Ubisoft sent us a copy fo... more.

There is one thing that has always been prevalent within the Ratchet & Clank series and that is humor. I am not saying that without the humor in Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus that it would be any less, but it does definitely add to the dimension of the game. On top of that, the dialogue is pretty solid as it usually is, and the voices match the characters as well as they should. T... more.

This Christmas was one of those where I went all out for my kids, who are gamers just as much as I am. My wife and I got my daughter (3) a Vtech Innotab 3S as she loves Disney Jr games, and got my son (7) his very own Xbox. Watching them play a video game is a flashback for me, as I was extremely excited to have a Sega Genesis (yes… before I got a NES), and gaming changed my entire world. ... more.
  • Dementium II HD

Normally in the industry of video games, ports do not usually go as well as the developer had intended them to. In this case, I think it went better than expected with Dementium II HD. Originally a game for the Nintendo DS system by then-developer Renegade Kid, it had a great amount of respect from the horror fans and me alike. That brings us to the present, and now an HD version in the form... more.
