When I had first heard of Damage Inc., I took it with somewhat disbelief. Not because of who was making it, but rather the flight sim genre on the consoles is pretty much over. Everyone had their fill with previous flight sims during the last gen consoles. However, thankfully one company has not given up on this –almost- dead genre and took it a little bit further. Controls If yo... more.

Do you remember being a kid and gaming? I sure do, and a great deal of my time was spent on a game for the original PlayStation: Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater. Now we have been treated to the new and improved Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD. Keep in mind that this review is for the Xbox 360 platform. This review is based on how well the game has been ported to a new console and new graphics. Graphic... more.

A lot has changed in the world of Azeroth over the last few expansions. With the last expansions though, I do not think anything has changed quite as much as what Mists of Pandaria brings to the table. A little backstory for you all: I did not come into World of Warcraft until after Cataclysm; at that moment in time I just could not bring myself to play it. Then they launched the Starter Edi... more.

There is one thing we here at TheGamingExperience are very fond of, and that are kids directed games. Of course in this gaming age, there is not a genre around that gets less publicity, and sales than that of the world of children’s games. However this particular genre is where you will find some true gems of the gaming industry. One of those gems is Disney Universe. Disney Universe is a rar... more.

I have had Prototype 2 since its release, and honestly I am still kind of unsure of what to think about it! I have played through it twice since then, gathering everything I could, just to convince myself to swing one way or another with it. So, here is what I have come up with. Controls The controls for Prototype 2 are substantially more fluid and more responsive than its predecessor. In a ... more.

There are many things that can make a great gaming headset for the PC: Dolby enabled, 7.1, 5.1, ear bud, over the ear, etc. With that said, I am sure you are also aware that personal preference is everything when it comes to sound. Luckly for you, one company has thought of you on this: Plantronics. The GameCom 780 is a unique headset in that it is versatile for both games and movies, and inclu... more.

The hack and slash genre has been picking up lately; there is no doubt about it. One game I kept an eye on ever since its first announcement is Warriors Orochi 3. The reason it appealed to me so much as it took some of my favorite games, and made one giant ball of awesome! First off, graphically; Warriors Orochi 3 is one of those games that if you look carefully enough you will see this bea... more.

I have actually been sitting on this review for a while now, because there is always one issue that comes with hardware reviews: durability. When dealing with controller reviews -or any other hardware- I like to make sure I can document everything possible for an accurate review. For this review I have used the Mad Catz FPS Pro controller for the Xbox 360 vigorously for over 2 months. This review ... more.

For as long as I have been a gamer, flight simulation games have had a special place in my heart; whether it was playing Ace Combat or Microsoft Flight I have always enjoyed them. Not only if flight simulations one of my favorite genres, but the PC peripherals are also some of my favorites. However, while browsing the internet I had found one that really caught my eye: Saitek X52 Pro. I contacte... more.

This review was originally published on May 21st, 2011 but was accidently removed so here it is with updated technology and methods for benchmarking. When you are building your own PC one of the most important components to it is of course your power supply. One company I have trusted for a long time has been Corsair for making products I can depend on, and if in the unlikely event someth... more.
